Britney Spears lived under a conservatorship that severely limited her freedom for thirteen years. Now that she’s free, she’s speaking out about what she believes were injustices brought upon her by the oppressive arrangement. Her latest target are the mandatory therapy sessions she was forced to undergo.
In a Thursday Instagram post, Brit said that the ten-hour-per-day sessions were torture. She celebrated the end of the marathon therapy appointments with great enthusiasm. The Toxic singer held nothing back.
“As much therapy as I’ve had to do against my will … being forced to pay and listen to women telling me how they are going to further my success … it was a joy … no really … 10 hours a day, 7 days a week … no lie … in this beautiful nation it would only be fair for me to dedicate my life to skits to the wonderful therapist!!!!
I genuinely thank you dear sweet hearts for your efforts!!! The end is me celebrating… it’s clearly OVER because my medication is working ‘Murica !!!! Pssss BALLS and KISS MY MOTHER F*CKING ASS”
Britney Spears mocked the therapy sessions in a video accompanying the harsh written words. She clearly did not enjoy or believe she benefitted from the sessions. She shouted repeated obscenities at the end of the video to reflect her frustration.
It appears Spears needs to vent about a lot of things. That’s natural, as she’s been through a lot. It will be interesting to see how Britney re-adjusts to her freedom as time goes on.
