Conor McGregor fractured his ankle at the end of the first round of his UFC 264 fight against Dustin Poirier. Since then McGregor has been on a path of destruction that resulted in McGregor saying a lot of controversial remarks. It seems Jon Jones believes McGregor can be a champion again.
Conor McGregor previously made headlines at MTV’s Video Music Awards after he got involved in a scuffle with Machine Gun Kelly while Megan Fox was still with Kelly. Recently, Conor McGregor was accused of punching Francesco Facchinetti, a celebrity DJ in Rome and breaking his nose in the process.
The DJ then stated that he will be filing a lawsuit against McGregor. McGregor was even called white trash for the incident. It was then revealed that charges were indeed filed against Conor McGregor.
Jon Jones recently took to Twitter and was asked if he believed McGregor can return and become champion again. Jones made it clear that he does believe McGregor has what it takes to be a champion again once he returns.

Canelo Alvarez also recently made it clear he has no intention of ever squaring off against Conor McGregor. McGregor is expected to be out of action for a year as he is set on returning as soon as possible. We will have to wait and see who his first opponent will be.
