The Marvel Cinematic Universe is creating the perfect conditions to bring different versions of Spider-Man and their collective universes to their conclusion throughout the years. Not only would villains from the original Spiderman trilogy and The Amazing Spider-Man appear in the film, but appearance from Venom has also been teased.
Morbius, the Sony project starring Jared Leto, is being teased since 2019. While it was initially slated for a 2020 release, the COVID-19 pandemic delayed it to 2021. However, the movie is currently slated for a January 2022 release.
Jared Leto recently took to explaining to fans at a Sony presentation at a CCPX conference that Morbius will have a connection with the upcoming MCU’s Spiderman: No Way Home.
Morbius’ connection to the MCU only makes things complicated. While the appearance of Michael Keaton’s Vulture was confirmed to take place in Morbius, the teased experiences of Electro from the Amazing Spider Man universe make the timeline much more harder to figure out.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is one of the most hyped up upcoming projects from the MCU. The multiversal approach by the MCU will set a new precedent, and make multi-dimensional crossovers a new avenue for the MCU to explore.
