Former late night television talk show host, David Letterman welcomed President Joe Biden in contrast to his predecessor who snubbed the award ceremony during his one term stay at the Oval Office.

After four years of absence, the Kennedy Center Honors were finally held in attendance of the President of the United States. The ceremony is held yearly to honor the life time achievement of icons in the entertainment industry.

The “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction” star introduced the ceremony, David cherished the fact the Bidens were in attendance at the yearly celebration. He remarked “Tonight, it is quite nice, very nice, to see the presidential box again being occupied” as he addressed the audience.

David took a cheeky crack at former President Trump by celebrating the presence of the Bidens at the White House. He said “And the same with the Oval Office,” as he praised the Biden’s attendance of the ceremony.
