The teaser for “Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts” special just dropped and the Harry Potter fandom has lost their collective minds. The globally acclaimed and beloved series has one of the biggest fandoms in pop-culture and it keeps thriving till date.
The teaser contains appearances from the likes of Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom), Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid), and Mark Williams (Arthur Weasley). The event will premiere on the Jan 1, 2022 and will feature the three main cast members – Danielle Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) and Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) alongside a number of other cast members from the series.

The fans showered the new teaser with a lot of love and are already hyped up for the upcoming event. Fans also brought up a cutscene from the teaser featuring the late great Alan Rickman’s Severus Snape, and made it clear that every Potterhead dearly misses the legendary actor.
The teaser also sparked a debate about whether or not JK Rowling, the creator of the series, should be included in this milestone event following a string of controversies she was involved in in the recent past.
Fans were also speculating about the identity of the woman featured in the end of the teaser. Most of the fandom seems to be in agreement that it is Emma Watson.
