Ed Sheeran Almost Killed Elton John During Recent Video Shoot

In an interview with Apple Music, Ed Sheeran talked about how Elton John rang him up to do a Christmas Song. Ed revealed, he almost killed Elton on the sets of their new music video.

He said “I’m sort of dressed up as sexy Santa Claus and I kick a present, but the present had a big metal bell on top of it”. When showed the footage slowed down, the bell almost cracked Elton’s head before flying past it. He added, “Oh my God, the horror went through my head”.

When asked about Wham!’s Last Christmas song he said , “Yes it’s somber listening to it, because we’ve lost someone really great, but it’s also amazing way to remember him[George Michael], every year it brings so much joy to people.” He believes it’s even more important to listen to it now cause it would be a tribute to the artist.

Ed shared He and Elton are dividing up the profits from the song to help people who want learn music. He said he started his non-profit work when his high school approached him for funding their music program. Ed’s foundation, now provides for more than 150 kids, it’s being overseen by his former music teacher.
