Christina Ricci Announces Birth Of Daughter Cleopatra

Christina Ricci has announced the birth of her second child, and first with husband Mark Hampton. The Addams Family star, 41, revealed the news on Instagram on Wednesday night and gushed over her “incredible” partner.

She shared a sweet video of her newborn daughter, the actress said: “Baby Cleo is here. We are so in love with her. Also she has the most incredible dad imaginable. @markhamptonhair”

New dad Mark, 37, also took to the social media platform to share his delight at the couple’s new arrival. He proudly wrote: “My heart has exploded. @riccigrams and baby Cleo are doing fantastic, we’re all resting after such an eventful morning.. welcome to the world baby Cleopatra Ricci Hampton”

He later shared the same video as his wife and thanked her for “making the most beautiful babies”. Earlier in the day, he posted a picture of him in hospital scrubs and a face mask to his Instagram Stories.

He captioned the shot: “Dr Baby time,” before following up with a pic of mum and baby alongside the words: “What a truly emotional morning, never cried as much. @riccigrams and baby Cleo are doing amazing!!!!”

The name Cleopatra name has such a nice ring to it. It certainly a royal name and holds quite significance meaning ‘glory of the Father’ We all wish the absolute best to the couple for having an healthy child and surely they would have quite some sweet moments growing up with Cleo.
