Freddie Gibbs Fires Back At DJ Akademiks Allegedly Exposing His Family

The issues between DJ Akademiks and Freddie Gibbs started in 2020 when the two got into a heated exchange on Twitter. Since then the two have butted heads on various occasions.

Recently DJ Akademiks addressed his feud with Freddie on Gillie Da King and Wallo’s podcast, “Million Dollaz Worth of Game“. On the podcast, Ak claimed that the rapper isn’t completely who he claims to be.

Ak compared Freddie to Tekashi 6ix9ine and listed the alleged careers the rapper’s family are involved in. He said “Freddie Gibbs is the son of a cop. Freddie Gibbs’ brother is a doctor. His other brother is a district attorney.”

He added to that comment saying, “He’s claiming he’s Vice Lord, he’s big, tough and everything. He’s tweeting out public threats to me.[Saying] I could have killed you.”. During the discussion, Ak also talked about how he carved out his own lane in media and much more.

Now, Gibbs has responded to these comments on Twitter. He was very candid about the allegations made by Ak. He tweeted out saying, “I never had a brother that was a district attorney I wish I did though.”
