ESPN‘s Jalen Rose and Molly Qerim decided to call it quits after three years of partnership. According to legal documents, Jalen filed for divorce in April 2021.
The couple announced their relationship to public in 2016 and got married in 2018. Their marriage apparently broke down when Qerim decided to move to Connecticut. A source told TMZ, the breakup was amicable and both sides remain cordial.
At 12:10 PM PT, Jalen issued a statement on their divorce. He said, “We both agree remaining friends and colleagues is the course of action for our relationship moving forward.”
The court documents show that Jalen does not want alimony and doesn’t want Qerim to have it, either. TMZ SPORTS learned that there was not a prenup involved and Qerim does not want any spousal support.
The ex- power couple hadn’t been photographed together much at all in the months leading up to their divorce filing. Molly recently removed Jalen’s last name, “Rose” from her socials. Both Rose and Qerim still work together at ESPN.
