Instagram Model Pulls Gun On DJ Akademiks After Podcast

DJ Akademiks and a dozen Instagram models were guests recently on the “Fresh & Fit” podcast. When one of the models, Whitney LeDawn, mentioned religion, Akademiks began to grill her. He asked if she had a child out of wedlock.

Ak then asked if God would approve such behavior. LeDawn fired back, questioning the hip-hop influencer about his own sins. Those include gluttony and alcohol. This came after LeDawn had been asked by the hosts to leave the show, according to HotNewHipHop.

“You wanna talk about my sins? Let’s talk about yours. Obesity.”

For the next ten minutes, the chaos built to a crescendo. Whitney screamed at the hosts, who said she was being rude. Akademiks eventually told the model that if anything she said offended him, he’d have one of his girls beat her up.

Akademiks walked off screen. He continued to scream at LeDawn. He then insinuated that she may have been reaching for a gun in her bag.

“I don’t know what shorty was reaching for in her bag.”

The chaotic scene spread on social media in short order. The entire appearance was a mess. Nobody came out looking any better than they did when they started. Whether there was a gun or not, it was a shameful scene for all parties.
