Kaalan “KR” Walker has been accused by over thirty women of sexual assault or rape in a series of alleged incidents dating back to 2013. Deputy District Attorney Yasmin Fardghassemi made the claim ahead of the actor and rappers upcoming trial, which begins next month. Walker was originally arrested in 2018 and charged for luring aspiring models to fake photo shoots, where he attacked them.

The 26-year-old pleaded not guilty to six counts of forcible rape, two counts of unlawful intercourse with a minor, and other charges relating to eleven victims. Rolling Stone obtained court documents relevant to the case.

Prosecutors argued to be allowed by the court to call five additional accusers to take the witness stand during the trial. Walker’s legal team countered, saying the women would lengthen the trial and allow prosecutors to trump up what they call “weaker” allegations for the crimes KR was charged with. The prosecutor responded that the request was not unreasonable.

“As we look at the totality of this case, over 30 victims, the people are not being unreasonable in their selection of only a few victims as it relates to [prior bad acts] purposes.”

Sydney Stanford, a model who attempted to do a photoshoot with Walker, says he raped her in a car the first time they ever met. Stanford’s case is not one of those Walker has been criminally charged with. She says the trial has been a long time coming for fellow victims.

If he is convicted, Kaalan Walker faces up to live in prison. The trial is set to begin on January 11, 2022. The very serious accusations will soon play out in what is sure to be a difficult case for many alleged victims to follow.
