Cardi B and vlogger Tasha K (Latasha Kebe) have been entangled in a messy defamation legal battle for over two years. Cardi is suing Tasha K for $75,000 for spreading rumors that she has herpes, among others. The Herpes medical records fiasco has finally reached an end in the court. It is now official that Cardi B does not have herpes.
Judge Ray directed the Center for Women’s Pelvic Health at UCLA on Monday to disclose “any and all medical records within your possession related solely to the testing for Herpes and HPV [human papillomavirus] for Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar,” Cardi B‘s real name. Cardi was very distraught over this.
Court documents reveal that a federal court judge reviewed records from the Center for Women’s Pelvic Health at UCLA to verify if Cardi has Herpes of HPV. The results confirm that Cardi is clear of both incurable diseases.
The judge says, “The Court has received and reviewed the records and finds that they are not helpful to Defendant.” Afterward, the judge ordered the records sealed until their defamation trial on January 5, 2022.
The judge also dismissed prostitution and hard-drug abuse claims that were made by Tasha K. The judge stated that she did not have evidence to support this assertion. Cardi B on the other hand has all the evidence she needs (videos of Tasha making allegations) to win the defamation lawsuit.
We will continue monitoring this ongoing story here at Thirsty. Odds are they are far from finished fighting in the court room.
