The trial of Gislaine Maxwell is coming to a conclusion. The controversial socialite has been accused of facilitating the sexual assault of young girls in a pyramid-scheme like operation for the deceased Jeffrey Epstein. Today, the prosecution called their on last and best witness to take the stand.

Annie Farmer is the only alleged victim to use her full name during the trial. She took the stand just before 10 AM on Friday, December 10, 2021. There, she delivered terrifying testimony against Epstein and Maxwell, according to Rolling Stone.

Farmer gave a spine-tingling account of the horrific behaviors alleged to have been displayed by Maxwell. She read from a journal that she kept as a teenager as she testified that Epstein and Maxwell groomed her for their own deviant sexual pleasure during various trips and outings with the couple.

“Farmer described the three of them going to a movie, Primal Fear, which Farmer said she wasn’t eager to do again but hoped it would be different since Epstein and Maxwell appeared to be a romantic couple and the presence of Maxwell was comforting. Again, Epstein caressed and held her hand, but she says he didn’t stop when he spoke to Maxwell.”

Farmer described several uncomfortable encounters with the pair as she recounted her story. Just reading the accounts of the creepy behavior is enough to make one’s skin crawl. Farmer stood up well to cross-examination by the defense, as well.

Maxwell’s attorney, Laura Menninger, focused her questioning of Farmer on her memory. She said that just because Annie didn’t have journal entries at specific times, her recollections must be unreliable. The prosecution is expected to rest its case this afternoon.
