Conor McGregor remains one of the most well known MMA fighters in the history of combat sports and his accolades over the years speak for themselves. The Notorious is also known to trash talk often, with varied results.
Conor McGregor previously made headlines at MTV’s Video Music Awards after he got involved in a scuffle with Machine Gun Kelly while Megan Fox was still with Kelly. Recently, Conor McGregor was accused of punching Francesco Facchinetti, a celebrity DJ in Rome and breaking his nose in the process.
The DJ then stated that he will be filing a lawsuit against McGregor. McGregor was even called white trash for the incident. It was then revealed that charges were indeed filed against Conor McGregor.
While speaking on Pat McAfee Show, UFC President Dana White admitted that is a nightmare to work with when it comes to his UFC media obligations.
“He [McGregor] is still passionate about fighting, you know what I mean. Yeah, he might be training like Rocky in Rocky 3, on yachts. But the guy is still fired up to fight and passionate about the sport… Conor’s a nightmare in the fact that if the press conference is at 4 o’clock and it is airing live on ESPN, he’ll show up at 7:15. With that s**t, he is a nightmare. But dealing with Conor McGregor behind the scenes business-wise, he’s a smart kid. Obviously, look at what he has done. And he’s easy to do business with,”
Conor McGregor also recently claimed that anyone he has ever assaulted deserved it. Canelo Alvarez also recently made it clear he has no intention of ever squaring off against Conor McGregor. McGregor is expected to be out of action for a while as he is set on returning as soon as possible.
