Rod Wave got his fans in quite a stir recently. He dropped a new song called Nirvana, and many took it to mean he was going to end his own life. The lyrics of the song were impactful in a big way, but Rod Wave is okay.

Fans flooded Twitter and sent out prayers to Rod Wave. He didn’t mean to cause so much worry. The rapper jumped on Instagram and he sent a message to fans calling for them not to worry.

Rod Wave said that the Nirvana song was a suicide prevention song, and not one about him ending his own life. He actually seems to be in a very good place while working on his next record.

“Sorry for da scare. I’m super goood…Happy asf working on my new album…love y’all fasho doe dat was definitely a [suicide] prevention song.”

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
