Bobby Shmurda has been making some headlines lately. He recently addressed criticism related to his music. Now he has taken to social media to deliver some inspirational words for up-and-coming artists.
The 27-year old rapper took to Twitter to voice his opinion. He encouraged his fans to chase their dreams and how he believed in himself by paying for studio time before he became a household name.
In the tweet he also shared how recorded “Hot N***a” for $20 in 1 hour of studio time. He says that 1hr of focus changed his life. “Hot N***a” released in 2014 peaked at #6 on Billboard Hot 100.
Later that year, Shmurda and several members of GS9 were arrested for a shooting incident. The rapper ended up with a six year prison sentence and was released from Clinton Correctional Facility in February 2021.
Shmurda began releasing music again in September with “No Time For Sleep(Freestyle)”, and recently announced that an upcoming album is nearly finished for release.
