Erika Jayne Divorce Proceedings Take A Nasty Financial Turn

Girardi is going through a lot these days. According to People magazine, He was accused of embezzlement and placed in a conservatorship after he was diagnosed with dementia. Now, he’s been forced to file for bankruptcy, and his divorce is still undone.

Erika has a limit on what she talks about on RHOBH. The limit is based on the legal proceedings in Girardi’s case. Still, many things have come out about Girardi’s case. Things have been confusing but Erika has been getting on with life to the best of her ability.

Girardi consulted with a divorce attorney, Michael L. Abrams, when the pair decided to part ways. Now Girardi has decided to part ways with Abrams, on December 7, 2021. Girardi filed paperwork requesting to be represented by himself. There was no reason for Tom Girardi to ditch his lawyer. He may have taken this decision because of his current financial issues.

According to bankruptcy documents obtained by Radar Online, Girardi’s assets were listed at just over $4 million. The debt racked up by Girardi’s former lawsuit totalled $100 million.

According to a report by Fox News, Erika Jayne and Tom Girardi’s items were being auctioned to pay back their creditors. Various property owned by Tom Girardi has either been sold or been listed for sale, including the home he once shared with Erika Jayne in Pasadena, California.

According to the New York Post, the price of the home has been dropped numerous times since it first hit the market in June 2021. As of November 2021, the home was listed for just over $8 million.

According to Radar Online, It’s still not clear that how things will play out in Girardi’s divorce case. Erika Jayne has requested for spousal support, and Girardi seems to be against the request.
