Zac Stacy Says Brutal Domestic Assault On Ex Was Staged

Zac Stacy told police that the brutal assault he committed on video against his ex-girlfriend was staged. The alleged footage shows Stacy throwing his ex onto the ground and into a television. TMZ Sports uncovered police video that shows the former NFL star telling police he was set up.

Stacy can be heard making the claim during the footage of his arrest. Speaking to the Orlando P.D., he explained the events that led up to the incident. He framed her as a bitter ex-lover who wanted to set him up.

“It’s just a case of just bitterness, man. That’s why she did this. The whole assault thing, she staged it. She set me up.

The whole thing was staged. All she’s trying to do is get money out of me. She got a reaction out of me.”

The ex is the mother of Zac Stacy’s infant son. He says she was upset with him because he broke off their romantic relationship. Stacy says she knew he was suffering from emotional and mental problems, and she triggers him on purpose.

Stacy also told officers that he knew what he did was “f*cked up.” He blamed his mental illness for the attack. Unfortunately, there is no excuse for the kind of brutality the original video showed.
