Despite being one of the best known rappers in the world, Cardi B only has one studio album to her name. However, that might change soon as the rapper has now revealed that her next album is dropping in 2022.
Cardi’s debut album, “Invasion of Privacy” dropped back in 2018. While she has released several singles since, and collaborated with other artists, this upcoming album will be her sophomore record.
The rapper also touched upon the reasons why it has taken her so long to come out with a new album. Primarily, Cardi stated that “it’s been a lot trying to balance out [her] new motherf**king life.” Between taking care of her kids and working on several different projects, it does seem like Cardi is stretched too thin.
Not only do I gotta put out an album, but I gotta record a movie, I gotta do so much sh*t, y’all.
Despite all of this, it seems like Cardi is finally ready to drop her next album. For fans, 2022 can’t come any sooner. Check out her Instagram post below.
