Tom Cruise imported 300 cakes from the United States to the crew of the latest Mission: Impossible movie as a holiday gift. To facilitate the cakes trip, he used his private jet. The round trip tallied 5,500 miles.
A source told The Sun that Tom wanted to give the crew a special Christmas treat. He ordered 300 cakes from his favorite bakery, and then had them flown all the way to the UK. Cruise wanted to do something generous for those who worked hard on the film.
“Tom wanted to give the team on Mission: Impossible a treat for Christmas and decided that only cakes from his favorite bakery in LA would do.
He organized for the shop to make 300 cakes especially and they were then flown back to the UK on his jet.
It is extravagant, but Tom is an incredibly generous person and he wanted to do something special for everyone who has worked on the movie with him.”
The film wrapped in September. The COVID-19 pandemic caused repeated delays during production. Tom Cruise went way out of his way to thank them for their patience and dedication.
