Conor McGregor fractured his ankle at the end of the first round of his UFC 264 fight against Dustin Poirier. Since then McGregor has been on a path of destruction that resulted in McGregor saying a lot of controversial remarks. It seems McGregor still hasn’t started MMA training yet.
While Conor McGregor has backed up his trash talks in the past, more often than not, they have also resulted in embarrassing defeats for him. McGregor also doesn’t hold any title in the UFC.
The Notorious One has been hard at work recovering from his injury over the past several months and has noticeably bulked up in anticipation of his return, though Dustin Poirier thinks he looks puffy.
While speaking to MMA Junkie, Conor McGregor’s Head coach John Kavanagh talked about The Notorious One’s preparation for his UFC return next year. John Kavanagh revealed that McGregor still has yet to start MMA training.
“Yea we’re not back MMA training yet, but he can do all strength and conditioning, and he’s being sensible about the approach of it. I do a little bit of talks with local schools around Dublin, and I will always use him as an example of what we can do in life when we get setbacks. There’s nobody that comes back better than him”
Conor McGregor is already making a recovery in rapid fashion. It was also revealed when exactly Conor McGregor is expected to make his return to the UFC. We will have to wait and see what shape Conor McGregor will be in once he returns to the Octagon.
