Ben Affleck Responds To Hate After Comments About Jennifer Garner

Ben Affleck is one of Hollywood’s most successful stars. He’s also a human being. Affleck dealt with alcohol abuse during his marriage to fellow actor Jennifer Garner. It was a difficult time, as he had a family with Garner. Now he is responding to backlash over comments about his ex.

Affleck recently made comments on The Howard Stern Show about how he believes the marriage led to his substance abuse problem. He said the marriage to Garner triggered his addiction. If he were still married, he would likely still be drinking.

Fans responded with heavy backlash against Affleck over the statements. Many called him insensitive. They believed what he said was inappropriate and disrespectful. Ben recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to set the record straight about the interview.

It said that I had blamed my ex-wife for my alcoholism, that I was trapped in this marriage — just made me out to be the worst, most insensitive, stupid, awful guy.”

Affleck went on to say that he doesn’t believe he is insensitive. He claimed his feelings were hurt by the whole experience. Affleck’s current partner, Jennifer Lopez, likely counts among those who are not buying his story.

The former Batman actor made it clear that he doesn’t want his kids to think that he said a bad word about their mom. Those comments also apparently stirred up J.Lo which probably gave Ben some issues at home as well.
