Isaiah Thomas Lands Contract With Los Angeles Lakers

Isaiah Thomas has been rearing for a great deal in all of offseason. As he’d taken it upon himself to prove that he’s still in top-shape for the game, he scored a whopping 81 points in a pro am game and showed everyone that he wants to keep in the game and play for the winning team. Now Thomas has a new team to play for, and he’s going to the Lake Show.

Thomas suffered a bad stint with the Golden State Warriors which landed him to the sidelines. While that was a bad stint for the star player, things seem to be coming around for him in a major way.

The player found himself in a G-deal with the Grand Rapids Gold, and scored huge in his first game. He’d scored a whopping 42 points, which was enough to convince anyone that Thomas still has it.

The Los Angeles Lakers were very interested in the player, amongst many others. As a result, Thomas has entered a contract with the team. The Lakers and Thomas were both associated with each other throughout the season. However, only now has a deal come around. The Atlantic’s Shams Charania tweeted the report.

The terms for the contract, however, remain contingent on Thomas’ performance. It is only a 10-day contract, which means that in this time, the player needs to prove that he can provide great value to the Lakers. Regardless, Thomas has been pursuing a serious deal, and this might be a chance for him to grab it.
