Kansas City Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ little brother, Jackson Mahomes, has been beefing with a local business recently. The younger Mahomes has been allegedly trying to “crush” the local bar, which has responded with claims of Mahomes acting entitled.
It seems that Mahomes tried to get the bar cancelled, but the bar hit back with confidence, claiming that they can “survive [Jackson’s] ego.” This claim was accompanied by a scathing critique of Jackson’s behavior.
Now it seems that the bar is willing to extend an olive branch to him, in the form of a Facebook post apologising for taking things too far in their roast of the younger Mahomes.
Social media can be used in so many different ways, & yesterday our team used it to personally attack and question the character of someone we do not know personally.
The bar, SoT, admitted that “out of all the ways this situation could have been handled, [they] did it the wrong way.” The bar also made a promise “to do better. To be better.”
It is definitely heartwarming to see an institution take accountability in such a situation, and apologize for their actions. As for Jackson, he has yet to issue a response to SoT. Check out the Facebook post below.
