Nate Diaz remains one of the most legitimate fighters to have ever stepped foot inside the Octagon. Diaz last competed against Jorge Masvidal for the “BMF” title at UFC 244 back in November 2019. He lost the match via doctor’s stoppage, but he is far from finished in the fight game. Diaz also has lofty ambitions after retiring from MMA.

At UFC 263, Nate Diaz finally made his return to the Octagon as he squared off against Leon Edwards. Unfortunately for Diaz, his return didn’t quite go the way that he wanted to as Diaz lost the fight.

Nate Diaz had also made it clear that he wants to compete in the Octagon again within the next three to four months. Earlier this year, Dustin Poirier and Nate Diaz have been at each other’s throats after Poirier called him out for a fight.

While speaking during UFC Vegas 45 post-fight press conference, UFC President Dana White claimed that if Poirier and Diaz actually want to fight each other, then he will book the fight.

“Listen, if that’s the fight they want, the fans wanna see, we’ll do it.”

The two were set to square off against each other at UFC 230 in a lightweight fight, but Dustin Poirier had to pull from the fight due to injury and they never competed against each other. We will have to wait and see if the two finally get to have their fight eventually as the two certainly have a lot of beef.
