Ja Morant Quits Twitter After Negative Fan Interaction

Ja Morant faced an unfortunate interaction with his Fan recently. Social media can easily influence young players, but he decided to exit the platform entirely. Morant’s altercation with the fan seemingly forced him to quit Twitter.

Morant has been dealing with some unfortunate injury issues lately. The injuries have caused him to miss the last few games. Morant made his way back to the lineup on Monday Night. The Grizzlies ended up falling to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

During the game, a fan reportedly told Morant that he should have stayed out of the lineup. According to reporter Drew Hill, the fan was a Grizzlies supporter. Ja was pretty disappointed and broken up about the whole thing.

After this unfortunate incident, Morant took to Twitter to announce that he would be taking a large break from the social media platform. “off social media for a while anybody who needs me got my #. love is love,” he wrote. 

It is tough for young players to deal with such negative comments. Let’s hope that Morant will get over the whole thing and will prove them wrong with his best performance.
