Westside Gunn Will Rest For Remainder Of 2021 After Recent Hospital Stay

Westside Gunn left his fans concerned after he shared he had to be taken to hospital. That was the second time he’s been hospitalized this month. It seems he feeling better now as he shared his condition with his fans.

Gunn had trouble breathing at his home and was rushed to the hospital. Through an Instagram story, he informed his supporters he will be back to making music next year once he’s better.

“Pray for me, They had to call for emergency I couldn’t breath, it’s under control now but OTW to hospital.. 2x this month.”

Westside Gunn shared that he will be resting for the rest of the year, sitting out the fourth quarter stretch. He wrote, “Some rest & I’ll be back.” He concluded his post thanking everyone for their love, even to his haters. He also shared, he didn’t realize he had “60 points in the 3rd quarter” and should have benched himself to avoid over-exhaustion.

It’s unclear as of now what exactly prompted his trip to hospital. It seems he may have worked himself to exhaustion. Our thoughts are with him and we wish he gets back up again soon.
