Following the unintentional shooting death of Halyna Hutchins, Alec Baldwin received hundreds of texts. He recently dropped a new video to thank his supporters.
Alec Baldwin has been making headlines in recent months after accidentally shooting and killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of “Rust.” This was a major tragedy that made headlines throughout the world, and Baldwin has had to answer for his conduct ever since.
Hutchins’ death was an accident, nonetheless, Baldwin was one of the film’s producers, and many believe he should be held responsible for what has occurred.
Baldwin stated in a recent interview that while he was absolutely devastated by what had occurred, he did not believe he was to blame. Baldwin said today in a Christmas Eve address to his fans that he simply wants to move on from what occurred.
“I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all the people who sent me such kind words and best wishes and strength and hope and prayers, thoughts and lots of encouragement. I got hundreds, hundreds of emails from friends, family and colleagues and people I haven’t heard from in quite a while to send me strength and good wishes and so forth. I’m really grateful to them. […] I’m looking forward to some aspects of this being behind me, of course. For everyone who is involved in this, it’ll never be behind us because someone died so tragically. I never lose sight of that, not a day goes by I don’t think about that.”
We will have to see what’s next for Alec Baldwin. His career was still going strong before this tragedy. Hopefully, those supporters will continue keeping Baldwin uplifted even if harder times are in store for him in 2022.
