Seth Rogen is never afraid to speak his mind when it comes to serious matters. A few months ago, Rogen revealed that he will no longer be working with Franco due to allegations of sexual misconduct meted against him. It seems James Franco opened up about Seth Rogen’s past comments.
Seth Rogen and James Franco have been good friends for a very long time. However, earlier this year, Rogen revealed that he will no longer be working with Franco due to allegations of sexual misconduct meted against him.
Actress Charlyne Yi worked together with James Franco and Seth Rogen on The Disaster Artist in 2017. Yi had previously revealed that she wanted to quit The Disaster Artist filming because she said Franco is a “sexual predator.”
While speaking with The Jess Cagle Podcast, James Franco opened up about Seth Rogen publicly stating that he will never work with James Franco ever again. Franco said that it was hurtful, but understood it had to be said.
“He was asked about me, and I just wanna say I absolutely love Seth Rogen. … I love Seth Rogen. I worked with him for 20 years. We didn’t have one fight for 20 years. Not one fight. He was my absolute closest work friend, collaborator. We just gelled.
What he said is true, you know, we aren’t working together right now and we don’t have any plans to work together. Of course, it was hurtful, in context, but I get it. He had to answer for me ’cause I was silent. He had to answer for me, and I don’t want that. So that’s why, that’s one of the main reasons I wanted to talk to you today. I don’t want Seth or my brother or anyone to have to answer for me anymore.”
Seth Rogen ultimately decided to do what he felt was the right thing and that is what matters in the end. We wonder if James Franco is truly remorseful for all that he did or not.
