Kanye West was at Whittier College in Southern L.A. on Dec. 22. The music legend was swarmed with fans while he whipped out his new autograph.
On Wednesday night, Kanye West went to show his support to his Donda Academy basketball team at Whittier College as they hosted their homecoming game. He was soon surrounded by hundreds of students and fans present at the venue.
He did not leave his fans hanging as he took time to sign autographs for everyone. Little did they know Kanye would surprise them by signing autographs with his new legal name “Ye”. Footage surfaced of him signing his iconic name with a sharpie on the back of an iPhone.
Apart from Kanye, French Montana also attended the event. He was a special guest of the Donda Academy Doves. It seems French thanked Kanye for his Yeezy care packages by gifting him a rare pair of Air Jordon 3 “Coke Boy L.A. Ave” edition.
Kanye is signed to adidas and is known to sport nothing but Balenciaga or Yeezy boots on his feet. It would be really unexpected of him to rock the limited edition Jordan’s. Apparently, he was spotted gifting the sneakers to an unsuspecting guard on his way out for the night.
Earlier this week, Kanye made a trip to Offset’s 30th birthday party on Dec. 21. He gifted the Migos rapper a pair of his unreleased tangerine orange Yeezy prototypes BSKTBL and 1050’s. Kanye surely knows the art of gifting.
