Kris Jenner apparently puts in even more effort than Santa Claus. On Friday, the 66-year-old billionaire dropped a festive surprise: her own version of the James Lord Pierpont Christmas classic “Jingle Bells,” just in time for Christmas Eve. Kris Jenner takes the vocals, Kourtney Kardashian plays the bells, and Travis Barker plays the drums.
Kris’ 42-year-old daughter, Kourtney, who plays the jingle bells, accompanies her on the one-minute-and-30-second song. Travis Barker, the Poosh founder’s fiancé, produced the song on “Kravis Records.” The Blink-182 drummer can be heard playing the song’s lively drum track, just like his soon-to-be wife.
Kris also appears in the artwork for the song, albeit in the form of an old photo of her. She wears a red sequin dress and stands in front of a chimney with Christmas stockings.
“A little fun in the studio with the iconic legendary queen @KrisJenner,” Kourtney wrote in her Instagram Stories. “Me on the jingle bells and @TravisBarker on the drums of course.”
Khloé Kardashian declared that there‘s a new Christmas legend in town calling her mom a queen. This is Kris’s first released Christmas song. She’s been known to sing in the past, such as in the infamous 1985 “I Like My Friends” music video.
In the meantime, the Kardashian-Jenner family will be singing a lot more Christmas carols over the next two days as they celebrate the holiday. It’ll be a particularly memorable year for Kourtney and Travis, as they’ll be spending their first Christmas together since their engagement.
