Jake Paul defeated Tyron Woodley in a boxing match back in August, which many fans believed to be nothing but a fluke. Jake Paul rejected a rematch with Tyron Woodley despite him getting a tattoo. However, as luck would have it, Tommy Fury had to pull out from his boxing match, giving Woodley a chance to face Jake Paul once again.
On December 18, Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley duked it out once again, with Woodley being determined to avenge his loss. However, it didn’t quite turn out the way Woodley had hoped.
While the first half of the boxing match was quite lacklustre, the second half more than made up for it. During the 6th round, Jake Paul did the unthinkable and knocked out Tyron Woodley with a vicious right hand that dropped him.
While speaking on Sirius XM’s Clutch Points, Tyron Woodley’s trainer Din Thomas detailed the true extent of Jake Paul’s knockout and revealed just how deadly it was.
“I think he went through a series of different emotions. I remember standing inside the ring as soon as it happened and he was like ‘no, no, when do I go back out?’ He didn’t even know, right when it happened, he thought it was in between rounds and I’m sure he was probably wondering why everybody was standing inside the ring. He didn’t even know at that moment. When I got out of the ring, I really just sat there, just in disbelief. That is really what the beginning was disbelief, you couldn’t believe that just happened.
“Then when we got to the back everyone on the team was disappointed like I can’t just believe that happened. Even him he was going back-and-forth. The guy that runs High Rollerz, well he was in the back and he brought his daughter who was probably four years old and when Tyron saw her he was like ‘hey, I’m okay, don’t worry.’ She really brought the life back into him and from him seeing this little girl you saw his whole demeanor change from being disappointed to this is what it is and I have to accept it.”
Jake Paul recently claimed that he can make $250 million from boxing as well. The Problem Child is currently taking time off after defeating Tyron Woodley, so it remains to be seen what is next in store for him.
