LeBron James’s contributions to the world of professional basketball cannot be understated. James suffered a serious injury to his right ankle in the Lakers’ game against the Atlanta Hawks back in March. Even after coming back, James has never been the same. It seems LeBron James is close to breaking a huge record soon.
LeBron James finally made his return during the Lakers game against the Detroit Pistons. Unfortunately, his return did not pan out the way he expected as James was ejected from the game. This is because a huge brawl broke out after James accidentally hit Detroit forward Isaiah Stewart.
Even after that, King James tested positive for COVID-19, due to which he will miss out on several games. However, LeBron James was also recently cleared to make a return as well. The Lakers are currently in a terrible position as they have been marred by poor performances and injuries.
James has been a part of 15 Christmas games so far and will now compete in his 16th Christmas game against the Brooklyn Nets. What is interesting about the upcoming game is that it provides James a huge opportunity to break a Kobe Bryant record.
James is currently second in points and in Christmas games behind Kobe Bryant was Bryant has 395 points in 16 games while James has 383 points. James is well on his way to surpassing Bryant and breaking his record, so we will have to wait and see if it will happen or not.
