LeBron James’s contributions to the world of professional basketball cannot be understated. James suffered a serious injury to his right ankle in the Lakers’ game against the Atlanta Hawks back in March. Even after coming back, James has never been the same. It seems LeBron James has broken yet another record.
LeBron James finally made his return during the Lakers game against the Detroit Pistons. Unfortunately, his return did not pan out the way he expected as James was ejected from the game. This is because a huge brawl broke out after James accidentally hit Detroit forward Isaiah Stewart.
Even after that, King James tested positive for COVID-19, due to which he will miss out on several games. However, LeBron James was also recently cleared to make a return as well. The Lakers are currently in a terrible position as they have been marred by poor performances and injuries.
As reported earlier, LeBron James was very close to surpassing Kobe Bryant when it came to overall points during Christmas. During the Lakers’ game against the Brooklyn Nets, James scored 39 points and easily surpassed Bryant’s record of 395 points in 16 games as James had 383 prior to the game.
However, despite LeBron James’ incredible performance, he failed to pick up the win for his team as the Lakers lost to the Brooklyn Nets 122-115. Regardless, James has yet another feather on his cap so he can be happy about that.
