Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City Fans Don’t Buy Season 2 Storyline

Real Housewives Of Salt Lake quickly caught on with the audience. The show is in it’s second season but fans are questioning the plot points of the show.

In a surprising turn of events, Jennie Nguyen’s husband Duy Tran suggested shaking things up in their marriage. Duy suggested to welcoming a sister wife into their marriage to give them more kids. The couple currently shares three children, Atlas, Triton and Karlyn.

In an episode that aired earlier in the season, the 40-year old housewife revealed that she had her tubes tied after having three children and suffering multiple miscarriages. The Bravo newcomer was shocked when her husband shared on camera how he felt an “emptiness” in his heart as he pitched the idea of a sister wife.

When Duy was asked by Jennie why she would agree to share him with another woman, he admitted he did not want to “sacrifice” their relationship but he had an “empty feeling” that more children will fill that void. During an scheduled appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” Jennie revealed that was the first time her husband brought up the topic.  She said she found the idea “shocking,” according to Bravo’s Daily Dish.

Soon after the episode released fans went wild. They were not having it and they questioned how can they put up such a bizarre storyline. In a thread on Reddit, fans picked apart Jennie and Duy’s sister wife storyline. A user wrote,

“I know a lot of the women, across franchises stretch the truth to push a storyline but this one feels totally inauthentic and just… made up?”

While other fans noted that is even “horrible” to think the story could be true. They pointed out the worse thing that couple can do is to put such a narrative out there when they have three kids who are old enough to read it online. We will have to wait and see how the story develops.
