Jake Paul’s current character sees him as a heel who loves getting under the skin of his opponents before every boxing match. Jake Paul isn’t afraid to call out top UFC stars for fights as he has called out the likes of Nate Diaz on numerous occasions for a fight. At one time he even called Nate Diaz every day to book a fight against him.
On December 18, Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley duked it in a rematch. History repeated itself as Jake Paul did the unthinkable and knocked out Tyron Woodley with a vicious right hand that dropped him.
Despite the crushing defeat, Tyron Woodley was in high spirits as he recently revealed a contest, where he will pay $5K to the person who can make the best meme of his loss to Jake Paul. Daniel Cormier felt this was a bad look as well.
While speaking on his podcast Never Back Down, Chris Weidman talked about Tyron Woodley’s devastating loss to Jake Paul. Weidman stated that Woodley tarnished his legacy after losing to the Problem Child.
“Damn, Tyron Woodley is going to have to live with that. It seems like they’re just comparing him to Ben Askren now. He’s not going to get another chance, like that’s it. I don’t know who he’s going to fight that we give him the draw and excitement that he would need to like elevate him back… I think his legacy has definitely been tarnished, which sucks to say.”
Jake Paul is also in no hurry to get back in the boxing ring after his win over Tyron Woodley. We will have to wait and see who Jake Paul’s next opponent will be once he does decide to return to boxing. He has recently called out Canelo Alvarez, so we wonder if Alvarez will be next or not.
