LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers face significant challenges this season. The team can’t seem to pull it together, and fans are growing disgruntled with how things are going. LeBron James highlighted the Lakers’ problem with careless turnovers.
The Los Angeles Lakers were trounced once more last night, this time by the Memphis Grizzlies. Despite his 37-point performance, LeBron’s efforts were in vain. The team continues to commit turnovers, which has led to their demise.
After the game, LeBron remarked that turnovers are hurting the purple and gold right now. LeBron revealed the issue to ClutchPoints’ Michael Corvo.
“There’s a difference between careless turnovers and attack turnovers, we gotta cut down on our careless turnovers — the ones that’s just unforced. We’re gonna have attack turnovers, which is OK. We have a lot of attackers and we understand that. But, the careless turnovers, where, literally, you just turn the ball over and there’s no pressure or there’s no reason for it, those are the ones that get us in trouble.”
At this moment, the Lakers will be lucky to enter the playoffs, even though they should be contenders for the NBA title. In any case, it’s not a good look for the Lakers right now, and it causes them to be concerned.
