Ye has had an eventful 2021. Donda was a big hit, he changed from Kanye West to Ye and squashed his beef with Drake. They 2022 might be even better as Ye is working on brand new music.
The divorce with Kim Kardashian is definitely getting hard to deal with for Ye. However, Kanye isn’t letting the rough patch in his personal life stop him from making music. According to Complex, the Yeezy founder was recorded cooking something up in the studio with Houston native Scarface.
Though there’s no sound, the vibes radiated the freshness of the beats. The video clip shows Ye enthusiastically playing the piano while former collaborator Scarface nods his head to the beat. We are not sure if Ye was working on new material or if it was just jam session with friends.
Back in 2015, Scarface mentioned he was supposed to appear on Kanye’s “Jesus Walks” track along with Jay-Z but the plan didn’t go through. Various scheduling conflicts prevented Scarface from laying down a verse. Hopefully, everything pans out correctly this time.
Kanye and Scarface began working together very early in their career. They first joined forces on Jay-Z’s “This Can’t Be Life” before teaming up on “Guess Who’s Back,” “Heaven,” and “In Cold Bold.” Some of the tracks appeared on Scarface’s 2002 project The Fix. We genuinely hope this collaboration happens. It will surely be a big hit when it comes out.
