Lil Nas X is currently one of the most highly-discussed rappers in the music industry, but not all of it is for reasons he would like. His latest “MONTERO (Call My By Your Name)” music video made him a huge subject of controversy as he could be seen giving a lap dance to Lucifer in the video. It seems he has an increasing view on social media as well.
Boosie Badazz recently launched into a homophobic tirade against Lil Nas X, which certainly caused a lot of outrage. Boosie Badazz claimed to have international love and respect in response to the outrage.
In the end, Lil Nas X addressed the beef he has with Boosie Badazz, where he stated that he no longer has any interest in dealing with Boosie Badazz as it was tiring and not worth it.
While speaking on CBS Mornings, Lil Nas X discussed his social media presence. Despite the racism and homophobia, the rapper revealed that he considers social media as his actual family.
“That was probably one of the first places where I was like, ‘Oh my God, this is for me.’ It’s like, my actual family. I’ve become closer with people who I met online than people who I’ve met in real life. I’ve learned the ways of the Internet… I’ve learned how to go viral, and what to stay out of.”
Despite having haters such as Boosie Badazz, Lil Nas X remains unfazed as he sees the positive things in life and we certainly applaud him for this mindset as social media can be a very toxic place at times.
