Snoop Dogg is a veteran in the Hip-Hop world and is considered as a collective “Uncle” by many in the Hip-Hop community. This simply goes to show how universally loved and respected he truly is. Now it seems Snoop Dogg drew inspiration from an unlikely source as well.
Snoop Dogg being a veteran, is certainly not afraid to show his appreciation and give the rub to newer rappers of the Hip-Hop world. He has done so on various occasions throughout his career.
On the other hand, two-time WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair has achieved a lot during his illustrious pro wrestling career and has inspired generations of pro wrestlers.
Ric Flair recently took to Twitter and uploaded a clip of an interview featuring Snoop Dogg, where the rapping legend revealed that he wanted to become Ric Flair.
“As a kid growing up watching Ric Flair. He was very inspirational to myself and a lot of other hip-hop artists. Because he represented what we wanted to be. We wanted to be Ric Flair, we wanted to be flamboyant. The kiss stealin’, wheelin’ and dealin’. We wanted to be all of that. He was a part of our culture and our life and that’s why we love him and we cheered him. We’ve always held him high in the Black Community because Ric is one of us.”
Ric Flair also previously made it clear that he will never go back to WWE again. It remains to be seen if Flair will wrestle another match or not in the future as WWE is clearly no longer in the picture.
