Snoop Dogg is regarded as a collective “Uncle” by many in the Hip-Hop culture. This shows how well-liked and revered he is around the world. Now, to go along with his recent Def Jam Compilation album, Snoop Dogg debuts his “Algorithm: The Movie.”
The Doggfather has been on a roll since releasing The Algorithm in the second half of 2021, providing his adoring fans with additional reasons to revisit the Def Jam compilation. On Friday, December 31st, Snoop released Algorithm: The Movie, which features multiple artists that have appeared on various tracks discussing how Uncle Snoop’s concept came to be.
Blxst, Dave East, and Fabolous appeared on the California-born recording artist’s latest project. According to HipHoPDX, Ice Cube, Too Short, YK Osiris, Ty Dollar Sign, Larry June, E-40, October London, and a slew of other vocal superstars were also there.
The hour-long film also includes music videos from the album as well. Just days before his film’s debut Snoop Dogg revealed that he’ll be releasing more music in 2022. Specifically, an album titled B.O.D.R. DJ Battlecat. The west coast legend’s longtime producer and buddy sent out a message with a warning.
“WHAT YOU THOUGHT ITS RAINING CATS & DOGG OUT IN THIS MF WE NOT FUCCIN AROUND WITH @snoopdogg @therealoctoberlondon & @nefertittiavani BATTLECAT YOU’Z A BAD MUTHA SHUT YA MOUTH!!”
