It seems Marjorie Taylor Greene will no longer be available on Twitter. This news will surely upset the Anti-vaxxers.
On Sunday, Twitter suspended the personal account of Representative Marjorie Taylor Green after “repeated violations” of it’s Covid misinformation policy. This will surely give her opponents something to pick at.
The company issued a statement explaining their action against Greene. It said, as per the company’s strike system, they will permanently suspend accounts for repeated violations of their COVID-19 misinformation policy.
The news soon found it’s way to Reddit. A user kicked off a thread detailing what led to her permanent ban from Twitter. Turns out it wasn’t a single tweet that got her banned but a series of Tweets over the span of time which resulted in her taken off the platform.
Just this past Saturday, Greene Tweeted a controversial statement. She said prior to Covid deaths from vaccines were taken seriously but now an “extremely high amount of covid vaccine deaths are ignored and government forced vaccine mandates are increased.”
A total 19 part tweet chain which violated Twitter’s policy got her off the platform. A Reddit user, archived all of Green’s Tweets using IFTTT. After being banned, Greene said, “Twitter is an enemy to America and can’t handle the truth,” Although, it appears Greene still has access to her professional account, “@RepMTG”.
