Lil Wayne’s Ex Bodyguard Changes Mind About Pressing Charges Against Him

Lil Wayne is regarded as one of the best rappers in the game. He is famous for mixing complex psychological themes, street knowledge, and a unique rhyme scheme to create some of the most compelling tracks out there. Wayne has been open about his struggles with mental health.

In early December, the rapper was involved in a scary incident. During a dispute at his home, Weezy pulled out a rifle on one of his own bodyguards. At the time there were no charges against Lil Wayne.

The guard has now had a change of heart. TMZ has reported that Tha Carter’s former bodyguard now wants to pursue charges against his former boss. The nature of the chargers he’s seeking are unknown.

The former guard claims that during the altercation, Wayne struck him in the head and face. If the charges do come down, he could be facing some sort of assault charge. With a weapon involved, he could be charged with even more serious crimes.

The outlet reported that the case doesn’t appear to be very strong. The police haven’t spoken to Lil Wayne about the incident since it occurred. It is unlikely that he will be prosecuted.

After the verbal argument got out of control, Lil Wayne pulled out an AR-15. The guard ran off and called the police. Responding officers found the story fishy from the start. This entire case may be headed for a civil suit as the former bodyguard seeks a monetary pay out from Wayne. It doesn’t sound like he has a very good argument. At this time, it seems like Lil Wayne will be just fine.
