Max Joseph Not Making Catfish Return Despite Nev Schulman Teases

Nev Schulman & Max Joseph were one of the most dynamic duos on TV. While fans would love to watch Nev & Max mess stuff up again in the upcoming new season of Catfish, it simply won’t happen.

The problem is, though, that Nev Schulman has been teasing a lot of upcoming involvement of his former TV partner Max Joseph. Despite all of that, fans are bound to feel deceived after TMZ reported that Max Joseph will not be a part of the next Catfish season.

The duo has been friends over the years, even after Joseph called it quits from the show back in 2018. While he was the main creative force behind the show and it was his baby, Max quit the show after working on it for seven years to pursue a career in filmmaking.

Schulman took to Instagram in order to show fans that he’s been hanging out with Max Joseph. Posting an Instagram reel of the two, Nev promoting the upcoming season of Catfish while captioning the post, “Do you think Max misses me as much as I miss him???”

Max Joseph is still on good terms with everyone. He can still come back in whenever he wants, but apparently season 5 of the show won’t be it. The show returns with Nev and Kamie Crawford as hosts, and due to the pandemic, it’s all produced remotely.
