It has been over a year since Joe Exotic became a viral sensation and well-known name after Nextflix’s “Tiger King’ blew up during the pandemic. The Tiger King star is still in prison at this moment. Now it seems Joe Exotic is taking extra measures.
Exotic is currently serving a 22-year sentence for wildlife crimes and for plotting to kill animal rights activist and animal sanctuary owner Carole Baskin. Tiger King season 2 simply took place after the chaotic aftermath of the first season.
According to TMZ, Joe Exotic is launching a GoFundMe, where he is asking for an exorbitant $500,000 to cover recent legal fees associated with his ongoing feud with Carole.
As revealed by legal documentation, judge sanctioned Joe Exotic and ordered him to pay Carole almost $10,000 from a dispute over the infamous Oklahoma zoo he used to own. Exotic added that he still owes $1 million to Carole’s Big Cat Rescue from her trademark infringement lawsuit.
“I will walk out of prison with my clothes on my back, a $1 million judgment and no home or clothes. My health is deteriorating and prison has not been kind. Simply put, I cannot get a fresh start until I pay @$&#!%! Carole Baskin back.
Joe Exotic has been transferred from FMC Fort Worth to FMC Butner in North Carolina as he previously said he would refuse cancer treatment and was ready to die. Joe Exotic is going through a hard time and that is unlikely to change anytime soon.
