Maralee Nichols Issues Statement After Tristan Thompson Admits To Fathering Her Child

Tristan Thompson was called out for cheating on Khloe Kardashian and fathering a baby with another woman. After months of drama surrounding Tristan’s alleged child with Maralee Nichols, Tristan finally admitted to his paternity. His new baby mama had something to say about it.

Thompson made headlines just few days into the new year, but for all the wrong reasons. The NBA star recently admitted to fathering a child out of his relationship with Khloe Kardashian. He has been the topic of discussion over many cheating allegations over the years.

While a paternity test on another child proved Thompson was not the dad, a DNA test of Maralee Nichols’s newborn confirmed paternity. Khloe then found herself in the midst of internet drama. The reality star caught flak from many people who weren’t happy that she chooses to stay with Thompson after repeated disappointments.

The couple share a three-year old daughter, True, and although they cast a happy family image, Thompson’s antics has often thrown shade on it. He recently admitted his faults and wrote a lengthy apology to Khloe on his Instagram. He acknowledged she doesn’t “deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you.”

After Tristan’s note went viral, Maralee Nichols issued a formal statement after Thompson initially denied he was the father of her child and even filed a lawsuit against her. Maralee’s representatives said in a statement to People:

“There was never any doubt that Tristan Thompson was the father of Maralee Nichol’s baby,Tristan made numerous false and defamatory statements and declarations about Maralee over the past few months, and she is taking his contrite statement today in the context of all of those statements.”

Nichols claimed Thompson told her he was “single and co-parenting” with Khloe. The new mom also shared pictures of her baby on her Instagram.
