Billie Eilish is certainly one of the most attention-grabbing singers in the music industry right now. At only 19 years of age, she has dominated the competition and her songs have been chart-toppers for a long time now. On the other hand, Travis Scott’s name is a bit nuclear after the Astroworld tragedy.
Eilish will perform as a headliner at Coachella this year, making her the second of three names announced. This also raise questions about Travis Scott’s future with the event. Eilish has signed on as one of the event’s big names for 2022, according to TMZ sources.
Before it was cancelled due to COVID-19, the 2020 edition included Frank Ocean, Rage Against the Machine, and Travis Scott as headliners. Frank has now committed to the event in 2023, but Rage Against the Machine is apparently not headlining the 2022 edition.
Swedish House Mafia, who announced their return to music a few months ago, took the first spot. Billie has now claimed the second headliner spot. Now it seems unlikely that Travis would perform at Coachella in Indio, California this April.
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival takes place every year at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, in the Colorado Desert’s Coachella Valley. An official announcement regarding Travis’s feature is yet to be made. We shall keep you updated regarding the same.
