Ex Subway Spokesman Jared Fogel Admits From Prison That He Royally Screwed Up

Jared Fogel was the spokesperson for Subway restaurants for fifteen years. The company pushed him as an example of how people could lose weight by eating their sandwiches. It all came crashing down after an FBI investigation determined that Jared was a major pedophile.

Fogel caught the attention of federal investigators in 2007 after he made lewd comments to a radio host about underage girls. Authorities uncovered the severity of Jared’s pedophilia soon after. Jared Fogel was arrested in 2015 after a raid found child porn and evidence that he had crossed state borders to meet with underage children for sexual encounters.

Jared is currently serving a sentence of 15 years and 8 months at FCI Englewood in Colorado. The New York Post recently published a jailhouse letter from Fogel. The former Subway spokesperson said he made a major mistake to end up where he is.

“I really royally screwed up to wind up where I am. I was selfish and entitled.”

Fogel has had his repeated requests for a shorter sentence denied. Jared said he is trying to make the best of his situation. A “vigorous” workout routine has led him to become unrecognizably slim.

Jared Fogel had everything a person could want in the world. Fogel was rich and famous and at one time was beloved by the public. The terrible deeds he committed have rightfully landed him in prison where he will be for a long time.
