Mary Cosby made headlines when she made a racist comment against her “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” co-stars. This made a lot of buzz and she caught flak from all over social media. It seems her actions also hampered her chances of returning to the show.
Recently, the reality star was a no show at the show’s reunion fearing being grilled over her season 2 controversies. A source close to the production revealed to Page Six, “Mary did not attend the reunion.” While another insider told the outlet Cosby did not attend the reunion because she “did not want to confront the controversy surrounding her this season.”
The source further explained, Cosby was terrified of getting grilled over her racist comments she made towards Jennie Nguyen and Jen Shah. Cosby accused Shah of being “Mexican thug” and she made a racist comment against Nguyen in regards of her “nice slanted eyes.” Apparently, she did not want to discuss the accusations she made against the pair on the reunion special.
With the production of Season 3 starting in coming few weeks, the source said Cosby will “most likely” not be asked to come back. The source elaborated, “Skipping out on the reunion is a big no-no for ‘Housewives.”
“This was the kiss of death for Mary. She hardly has any alliances left in the cast, who hoped she would have shown up to the reunion to take accountability for her behavior and the allegations about her church.”
Meanwhile, neither Bravo nor Cosby has responded to the aforementioned comments. However, Andy Cohen sat down with the rest of the cast to film the show’s traditional reunion special. Cohen posted multiple videos to his Instagram Story teasing a dramatic and suspenseful reunion.
