Tristan Thompson Benched By Sacramento Kings Amid Baby Mama Drama

Tristan Thompson has been all over the news and for the wrong reasons. The basketball star was recently called out for cheating on Khloe Kardashian and fathering a baby with another woman. After months of drama surrounding Tristan’s alleged child with Maralee Nichols, Tristan finally admitted to his paternity and looks like his coaches were well aware of the drama.

According to Hollywood Life, Tristan Thompson was purposely benched during his last NBA game as a result of his distracting baby drama with Maralee Nichols. Tristan was set to play the Los Angeles Lakers, a day after he admitted to fathering the baby with his ex-fling. The Toronto-born star didn’t play during the game at all, which the Lakers ended up winning with a score of 122 – 114

“Tristan’s coaches were well aware of the news that was out there on him and decided that playing him in LA of all places would have been a bad idea,” the insider told HollywoodLife. “They didn’t want the distraction to take over the game,” the insider added. “Sacramento still lost to the Lakers, but it was decided before the game that it would be best that he didn’t play, and they moved forward with that plan and expect it to be forgotten by the end of the week and everyone can move on at least when it pertains to on court NBA situations.”

Meanwhile, Kris Jenner‘s boyfriend, Corey Gamble appears to have Tristan Thompson’s back. Corey showed support for Tristan after the game, holding up his No. 13 jersey for cameras to see. The talent manager didn’t hesitate to show support to Tristan despite him being in muddy waters.

Lebron James also had some words for former Cleveland Cavaliers teammate. James yelled: “I’m a motherf**ing problem, btch” at Thompson, during the game. James’ clutch performance gave the LA Lakers their third consecutive victory as they improved to 20-19 for the season.
